We’re a relaxed pub and welcome walk-ins as well as bookings, but we would strongly encourage you to book on Sundays to avoid disappointment, as our Sunday roasts are prioritised for booked customers.

Although we are not a sports bar, yes, we showcase a variety of sports at The Roundhouse, such as big football games, rugby action throughout the year, and other sports on request too.

Yes. A big one at that. Come and enjoy our south-facing terrace which gets the sun all day – seats outside are available all year round but our garden is at its biggest from ~end of March to end of September.

We don’t have any parking available but there are two car parks less than a two minute walk away – NCP on Mount Street and NCP on St James Street normally have plenty of space.

Yes, we are pleased to offer fully accessible entry to the bar floor. Please follow the pedestrianised road into “The Arena” to the left of the front entrance, following the building round, where you will find a ramp which brings you directly onto the bar floor. We have an accessible toilet on the same floor and plenty of tables which can accommodate.

The Roundhouse along with the rest of the old hospital is a tourist attraction in itself – check out our History section! We are also right next to Nottingham Castle, and a short walk down the hill away from Old Market Square, the Nottingham Playhouse Theatre, Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, and the City of Caves.

Our kitchen typically shuts every day at 9pm so you can enjoy our food until late. We sometimes open the kitchen later on weekends!

Children are allowed in The Roundhouse – our licence permits anyone under the age of 18 to remain in the venue (so long as accompanied by someone over 18) until 10:00 PM.

The Roundhouse is a 14 minute walk from Nottingham Train Station, and are less than a 5 minute walk from bus stops on Friar Lane, Mount Street Coach Stop, and Maid Marian Way (stops near the Park Plaza Hotel & Tesco Express).

Our typical layout allows us to seat around 100 people inside and up to a further 50 outside – comfortably. In an event layout, we can accommodate up to 200 people.

Yes - step free access is available directly to our main and only bar floor by following the road round to the left of the front door, when facing it, and moving up the ramp that runs round the building. There is a toilet placed on the same floor also.
